Paintings create the artist, mine have been doing it for over thirty five years already and I'm still not finished. On this page you'll discover some of my earliest work as well as material that doesn't seem to fit anywhere else on this site. Surrealism, and symbolism had a definite influence on my work when I began painting, the latter still does.

JUST LOOK AT YOURSELF SAID IMAGINATION TO REALITY ! YOU ARE LIMITED BY TIME, YOU ARE CONTROLLED BY NATURE ITSELF AND YOU CAN REALLY BE SO UGLY SOMETIMES. NO WONDER SO MANY PEOPLE CHEAT ON YOU WITH ME I GIVE THEM PLEASURES LIKE YOU SOMETIMES DO,I'LL ADMIT ONLY I ASK FOR NOTHING IN RETURN LIKE YOU ALWAYS DO SO WIPE THAT SILLY GRIN OFF YOUR FACE I KNOW IT'S RIDICULE FOR ME TO WASTE TIME TALKING TO YOU BUT UNLIKE YOU, I HAVE ENOUGH ON MY HAND TO AFFORD TO DO IT AFTER ALL WASN'T IT I WHO INVENTED IT? NOW DON'T BE JEALOUS OF MY BEAUTY POOR COUSIN I'LL LEND IT TO YOU SOMETIMES, HE, HE, HE ! Copyright LorAnge

THEY KEEP THE MEMORIES ALIVE LIKE MY LIFE THEN THEY WERE
SURREAL & SYMBOLIC

I remember back in the 70s when I was a big Dali fan I painted a few copies of his work and this
is one I still have in my possesion today. His oniric based surrealism has influenced my own
creations and still does actually. I also admired the spanish painter's classical techniques of
execusion it has taught me a lot.
My masters are also Bouguereau a french teacher and classical painter, Le Caravagio of the
renaissance period was a great influence with his chiaroscuro style he along with Albrech Durer,
Rembrant and Rubens are really at the roots of my painting style yet my way of expression is
rather modern indeed I improvise a lot and often start a painting from an abstart bloth and I of
course always express what I honestly feel to day.
I know that Leonardo DaVinci used to ask his own sturents to create a painting based on
something they saw in a stome from the exterior wall of his studio so I can't claim to be the first
to start from an undefined form and to develop it to the point of making it seem rather close to a
reality. Marcel Lorange

I was born, I lie, I'll die!
I smiled, I laughed and cried.
Or was I?
Iff birth was really death
then death would be birth
and if limits would not be real
